Angus Hasslet to lead CRV holding B.V.

After successfully leading CRV for over 12 years, Roald van Noort will step down as CEO on May 1st 2020. He will be succeeded by Angus Haslett who is currently Managing Director of the Business Unit Oceania and responsible for the Business Unit USA.

After 12 and a half years as CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of CRV, Roald van Noort, in consultation with the Supervisory Board, has decided to step down from his position on 1 May 2020. Roald’s contribution to CRV has been significant. He has led the company through an era of unprecedented change in cattle genetics and positioned CRV as one of the leading and most admired herd improvement and bovine data companies in the world. His work in the Netherlands and Flanders has created a sound position for CRV’s shareholders to manage the changing world of dairy farming, whilst his work internationally has created an important and strong platform from which the company can grow.

The Supervisory Board is pleased to announce Angus Haslett will succeed Roald as CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board, effective 1 May 2020. Angus joined CRV in 2009 as Managing Director of the Business Unit Oceania and most recently managed the USA operation. He has worked closely on developing Oceania’s strategy including several acquisitions that have seen CRV establish itself at the forefront of innovation in cattle improvement.

The Supervisory Board welcomes CRV’s first international CEO and is pleased to be able to make the appointment from within CRV. Angus will re-locate to The Netherlands in the first half of 2020.

Roald added “It has been a great honor to serve CRV Holding for 12 and a half years. The natural moment to change leadership is now. I am proud that my successor comes from within the CRV ranks. Over the last decade he has proven to be one of the great new leaders of our industry. I wish Angus every success in leading CRV into a new era.”

Roald will remain available to CRV until September 1st 2020 in order to facilitate a smooth transition. The replacement of Angus Haslett in BU Oceania will be announced in due course.
